2.5" Lady Finger Cactus

Regular price $22.99

Cacti are succulents, but their fleshy stems are what set them apart from the broad plant group. Unlike the others, these plants store water and moisture in their green, photosynthetic, and cylindrical or flattened stems. They come in different shapes, sizes, and colours, so you have plenty of choices! Give them the right care, and these prickly plants will show you beautiful flowers.

Plant Care Tips

Found in dry regions, cactus are typically very slow growing from seed. Some of our plants in 3.25” pots can be up to 5 years old. Checking water levels in these plants can be difficult but this is one plant you should always let go on the drier side. When re potting use our arid cactus and succulent soil mix.

Plant Origin

All cactus are native to the Americas, occurring as far south as Patagonia, and as far north as southern Canada. One species, Rhipsalis baccifera aka mistletoe cactus, are native to parts of Africa and Sri Lanka.
