Lambert Cactus & Succulents Mix provides plants with a media that reproduces similar conditions one would find in an arid environment. The sand allows good drainage and weight. The peat provides organic matter to the plants. One can choose to provide more moisture for some species of succulents and also limit water for arid-loving plants such as cacti that are provided as little as 3 inches of rainwater throughout a season’s growth.
