A popular carnivorous plant, known for the trumpet-like traps which are filled with digestive liquids. A slow growing plant, with new traps getting larger and larger with age. Water needs to pass through a charcoal filter or be left out for 48+ hours to allow chemicals to dissipate. When transplanting, only increase pot size by one and use our long fibre sphagnum moss. Traditional soil contains fertilizer which will hurt plant growth.

Sarracenia are native to the eastern seaboard of the United States, Texas, the Great Lakes area and southeastern Canada.
